I was born in the wrong decade. It is likely that I was also born the wrong color, but that is a topic for another day. Whatever it may be, I am always overcome with joy when I hear songs by The Whispers (and similar artists). Seriously, every time this song comes on I jump on my desk and do a one man Soul Train line. Ellie Goulding did an AMAZING cover of The Weeknd’s song “High For This.” It inspired me. I threw Birdman and Lil Wayne on top, added some fresh drums and a whole lotta BOOM. Just a little something to get you through the weekend.
