AIAIAI TMA-1 – Yeah, I’m one of those DJS now…
Ok, so now I am one of those guys… you know the ones who jump on the cool DJ bandwagon. But let me tell ya – it feels good. In my very brief experience using them, these headphones live up to the exceptional hype. The sound quality is impeccable, they are extremely light weight, and there are very few moving parts to break… and I have broken the moving parts in nearly every brand, model and make of headphone on the market. It will be interesting to see if these can withstand my aggressive usage. For now, I am happy. Very happy.
And I managed to avoid buying the Fools Gold or Beatport versions – because that would just be a little too bandwagonish for this guy.

Superthug Vs. Midnight City Vs. Get Me Bodied (The Melker Project Remix) – Noreaga Vs. M83 Vs. Beyonce
I have been sitting on this remix for a couple of months now, trying to find a way to use it in my show. Now it will see the light of day via the internets. Noreaga gets reborn on top of the M83 smash Midnight City, backed by some Beyonce drums. I am particularly fond of the middle section, which uses the verse from the M83 track. THE MELKER PROJECT, VOLUME 1
In 2009, I had an argument with a friend about the merits of Girl Talk (who I think is amazing). As the conclusion to this disagreement, I bet him that I could do what Girl Talk does, but with turntables. Months (and hundreds of hours of work) later, I released this mix. I am sharing it again now because Volume 2 will be released in the coming weeks – and this is the 48 minute mix that started it all.
