As a special Monday treat, I decided to share a classic mix from 2007. This was recorded live at Shibuya Ax in Tokyo, Japan, while I was on tour with G. Love and Special Sauce. This was made long before Ableton and mashup technology – each and every part of this was performed live, using acapellas and instrumentals of the tracks, mostly on vinyl! This is really where “The Melker Project” was born…. Enjoy this throwback!

Sometimes I get the urge to do something different… like play some instruments and beatbox. It’s no mystery that I am madly in love with Aaliyah’s music, and I have wanted to remix “Rock The Boat” for a long time. I finally felt the inspiration and created this acoustic remix, featuring yours truly on the piano and beatbox. I hope you enjoy it!
In celebration of Hannah Montana becoming a certified hood rat, the Ying Yang Twins dropped an epic track called “Miley Cyrus” on their new mixtape, Ass In Session. On tour with the Twins, I met Mr. Collipark, who asked me to do a remix of the track for Clubtapes.com. So here it is, reworked with a TWERK vibe, using the massive track TWERKULATOR by D!RTY AUDIO and Meaux Green as the backdrop.

You don’t have to look too closely to see me making my best “bass face” in XXL Magazine. In a shocking development, they chose to feature two white people in one photo, neither of which are rappers.
