LIVE IN TOKYO – 2007 MIXTAPE
As a special Monday treat, I decided to share a classic mix from 2007. This was recorded live at Shibuya Ax in Tokyo, Japan, while I was on tour with G. Love and Special Sauce. This was made long before Ableton and mashup technology – each and every part of this was performed live, using acapellas and instrumentals of the tracks, mostly on vinyl! This is really where “The Melker Project” was born…. Enjoy this throwback!

In celebration of Hannah Montana becoming a certified hood rat, the Ying Yang Twins dropped an epic track called “Miley Cyrus” on their new mixtape, Ass In Session. On tour with the Twins, I met Mr. Collipark, who asked me to do a remix of the track for Clubtapes.com. You don’t have to look too closely to see me making my best “bass face” in XXL Magazine. In a shocking development, they chose to feature two white people in one photo, neither of which are rappers.
